1. Create a vertex/edge selection.
2. Find and click this tool in "Tool Search" window, Straighten To Line. A temporary streamline tool will be created and activated.
3. Click two vertices to define a line. The verts/edge selection will be projected onto the line.
4. Tap "Esc" key to exit the temporary streamline tool.

look at this also, I think it fits into the toolkit for nvil, maybe if you don't take it completely, but partially, for hard surfaces, solid modeling, it would be very cool, some small analogue of MoI, quick additions, subtractions and divisions , bevel on primitive creation and fast boolean. Most can be done anyway if configured, but see if it might be interesting.

quick select boolean with quick create primitive for boolean,while creating primitive you can make bevel and change its shape and size,and even the amount! and even this to unfold,change the distance between them or chamfer, the number in a row and in height,custom drawing boolean,fast cut of geometry,fast split part of geometry.I think it would be nice to adapt this script for your program.some of the small work, which, for example, would have to be done in Moi or in other modeling of the frame, can be done here, I understand, it will probably be difficult to implement, but it would look awesome

There is no plan to implement this feature.

it would be cool if nvil immediately in the program had a more friendly interface, I can suggest that they add a start window with a choice of user interface with layouts. let's say they did it in softimage. And they made three presets maya 3dsmax and softimage. Each preset had its own settings  moving the camera, etc. You can do the same, only with the Ui sets that are on the forum right now. If use loop cut\slide and use streamline tool RMB for fixed length and after that if you need exectly same result on second border if you use num cuts 2 you will get not the same result.I understand you can get same result with topology symmetry but its be cool get this futures.Whithout this function you should make a lot loops and delete extraloops or use symmetry
1 pic. i select loops what i result wanted 2-3 result if you press numcuts to 2.i think loop cuts need  toogle while creating num cuts

I don't understand what exact result you want.
Have you tried this tool, Edge_DoubleLoop_Cut/Slide? You can find it in the "Tool Search" window.
