User Toolbars - toggle snapping vs turn on and off all snappings

I have a toggle all snappings button in the User Toolbar. It turns all snapping buttons on or off.
I have two other buttons too. Turn on all snappings, and turn off all snappings. They also turns all snapping buttons on or off.

They seem to do the same. What`s the difference?

The snap toggle functions have only recently been added to custom commands. They where added due to the user toolbars, so that similar mouse clicks can be used on user toolbars as with the default drop down snap menu.

So yes, you get an overlap of functions, but if you where to remove the old functions you may very easily break a setup for a user who as had that setup for a couple of years. Best to leave the availability of both old an new (IMHO).

Why not have the main functions/commands set in specific named toolbars, then place old/legacy commands into a separate toolbar and call it "repository". User can then always drag/drop what they want to/from the repository to/from the various toolbars?

Yeah. That`s what i plan to do anyways. Keep one toolbar in the backhand with all available tools

Question is if a double tool should be available. That`s what i try to find out here
