I'm getting a strange problem with poly extrude in 2020-Aug-28 version. For some reason I cannot extrude closed poly loops if the extrusion is small (below 0.01 m in this particular case). NVil welds some vertices together and as a result, I get a mangled mesh (see: video).

Geometry seems to be clean. All auto-weld settings I could find are disabled:
Edit->Options->Auto Weld Enabled (disabled)
Edit->Options->Extrusion Options->Polygon Extrusion Auto Weld Enabled (disabled)
Edit->Options->Extrusion Options->Polygon Extrusion Auto Weld Snap Enabled (disabled)

Are there any other settings which I should double-check?

It is a bug which occurs on long thin polygons.

Try this
