Draw Mesh question!

Hello, I just started to learn NVil. Draw Mesh is the function that draw me into the program. I was following videos online but I was not able to perform multiple extrude as my mesh won't display the blue outline with white inner lines and purple vertex dots. With edge snapping turned on I can only perform single bridge. Am I missing something?

Can you show a screenshot of your mesh in viewport?

I don't understand what you mean by "single bridge". Can you explain? If you want to extrude from multiple edges, click the first edge, no dragging, then go to the second edge and press down LMB and drag to extrude.
