Does anyone have problems exporting geometry from 3D Coat back to NVil using the built-in AppLink?

I can send geometry from NVil to 3D Coat all right, but not do the opposite.
In 3D Coat I select File->Export [Whatever] Mesh To->NVil and Save As file chooser pops up set to:
Code: [Select]
%APPDATA%/Roaming/DigitalFossils/NVil/Media/3DCoatAppLink/ImportSo I'm saving the geo as temp.obj, for example, and then switch back to NVil. Nothing happens.

My 3D Coat settings are visible on the uploaded screenshot.

Have you had this option checked?
File > 3D-Coat Applink > 3D-Coat Applink Enabled.

----------
Also a file: export.txt must be generated when you export from 3DC which provides the location of the exported obj file.

user document folder\3D-CoatV48\Exchange\export.txt
or
user document folder\3D-CoatV48\Exchange\NVil\export.txt

Yes, I have this enabled.

The directory listing of 3D-CoatV48\Exchange\NVil contains the following files: run.txt and temp.mtl.
run.txt contains path to NVil executable.
Contents of 3D-CoatV48\Exchange\ contains: Export.xml and textures.txt files. Both files are empty.

Looks like you didn't export the obj file in a proper way. The export.txt file is missing. What are the applink export instructions for 3DC?

What are the applink export instructions for 3DC?
http://3dcoat.com/forum/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=19895
I'm not sure how up to date those instructions are though. I think we can be sure that they support at least version 4.0.08A (uses \3D-CoatV4 directory), Andrew Shpagin mentioned it in one of his last posts in this thread: http://3dcoat.com/forum/index.php?/topic/5596-3d-coat-applink-description/&do=findComment&comment=101209. But the post dates back to 2013 and 3D Coat is 4.8.05 now (uses \3D-CoatV48 directory).
The document was last modified in 2015.

I am not a member of 3DC forum users so I can't access the doc.

How about you can ask in 3DC forum?
