Hi,
i have a question about saving specific file formats. Actually i can save models as obj, dae and vws.
If i save vws than i can keep subdivs after reopening files. On obj and dae subdivs are collapsed.

During modeling process i like to preview 3d model in marmoset, so i save as obj , tap on marmoset and he automatically updates my model and i can see it with light etc.. But if for example my pc crashes or i forget to save my project in the end of the session as vws, i loose zero subdivs.
Is it maybe possible to save same file in 2 formats at the same time? For example if i press save , tool saves obj and vws (as backup) at same time and place?
Or maybe hotkey, for different formats, so if you press these it saves format you want without go to save menu ?
Thanks in advance for help!

Have a look at "Composite tools" (Help > Contents > Modeling > Composite tools").
You can add multiple "P_SaveToFile(*)" into the composite tool. (Add a "P_SaveToFile(*)" into composite tool for each file type/location/name of save required).
You can then either run the composite tool from the "Composite tools" drop down munu, or add an hotkey to the composite tool in "Edit > Customize > tools"

Yes it works! Thx a lot.

In the moment composite tool save 2 different filetypes, that is good.

But saved obj. does not contain any subdivs, like if i save it by hand. See screenshot 1,2.

One thing i have left.
I tried my setting on my pc at work and i got a problem with saving obj because the harddrive location is different. (At home i have different user name)

Is it possible to configurate like that : if i save a vws file first time, obj will also be saved with same name and within same folder/location for example desktop.
