Hello,

With models with multiple parts, I am seeing that the only way to check what material(s) belong to which object(s)(or polygons) is to select all objects, then select each material with "select Polygons" to see which polygons hight_light.
Is there a way to select an object, then for the material that belong to that object to be auto-selected? So that after selecting an object, when I open the material window, the material that belongs to that object(or polygons) is already selected?

Thanks,

There is a problem. Only one material can be selected at a time in the material editor.
If I create a tool which allows you to click at a face to select that material belongs to the clicked face, will that help?

Hi IStonia,

That could help.
Could it be added as a basic streamline tool?

All done. I make it a command instead of basic streamline tool. But you can asign it to a streamline tool's envet. You can also asign it to a radial menu.
