Grid/Workplane/Axis

Show Grid Axis do not work Grid axis are invisible.

Is grid visible? If grid hidden, grid axis will be invisible.

Pleas make it work independently? We need it first of all to have orientation when grid is off or workplane is set to something.

6. When you launch NVil with Grid turned OFF Axis Grid shows partially.

This request was only about Grid Axis size.
When you launch NVil with grid turned OFF, Grid axis have half size(first image).
But when you launch NVil with grid ON, Grid axis have size as it have to be (second image).
We need it to have full size in all cases not only when grid is ON.

Preview enabled - Now it activates as soon as you activate it but it has to activates only on Viewport Navigation.
Also Preview Enable Toggle now activates immediately as you fire it, but it must be activated only when you navigate viewport.
Idea of Preview was to quickly preview model when you navigate viewport. In my previous request we changed a lot of commands from On Viewport Navigation to On Preview, to control them by Preview enabled.

Just want to share with you how nice looks preview when you set - Preview in Inactive Viewport Enabled ON.

Check Views at right, I use them to preview model instantly! very nice feature.

Can you pleas add option for this:

9. Now if you have Swap REPEAT LAST STEP with REPLACE SELECTION ON and SL tool is ON and you click on subobject NVil just creates Replace selection. Can you pleas disable it. So it will be possible to highlight subobjects but imposible to select them. To make selection you will press and hold Shift(Include selction) or Ctrl+Shift(Replace).

I experimented with this a lot and it have some advantages and disadvantages I would like to compare this behavior with previous side by side, to chose the best one.

Also Action Cancel Command do not work with SL tools and Composite tools.

IStonia, I just thought that we sometimes make very advanced options, like I requested in previous post.
May be you will  make tab in Preference window - Advanced. And we will put here all options that is not obvious for regular users to not mix them all together.
We can also put here: REPEAT LAST STEP with REPLACE SELECTION ON. And many others.

If I understood right:
A. Swap REPEAT LAST STEP with SELECT AT POINT on basic streamline tool.
- Must work like it was before(NVil-Jan-23-16), so you can make selection without pressing selection hotkeys, you click on object/subobject and it selects it(replace selection).

B. Swap REPEAT LAST STEP with HOTKEY-SELECT AT POINT on basic streamline tool.
 - Must work like after (NVil-Jan-23-16), so you can not make selection without pressing selection hotkeys.

B works as expected. A works the same as B(nothing changed) but have to works as it was before NVil-Jan-23-16.

Wow, object transparency render in front of grid??? Do you finis it?
- Render grid behind objects does not work.
- Grid axis started to flicker when you mouse drag when SL tool is active.
- Hide grid axis on preview does not work.

Did you check A and B at the same time? You can only check one of them.

I can't see the problems on my side. Can you make a video to show them?

I tried it in all possible combinations does not work, check video. I send by email my config files.

- Render grid behind objects works! I was wrong! It does not work with Workplane(I have workplane enabled instead grid). Can you pleas modify this option like this - Render Grid and Workplane behind objects.

- Hide grid axis on preview work! I was wrong! It does not work in inactive preview when Preview in inactive view is enabled. (I just looked at inactive view and thought that it does not work On Preview.

- Grid axis started to flicker when you mouse drag when SL tool is active, check it in Video.
