I'm very new to Nvil.
Is there any tools in Nvil to twist polygons ?
For example. I have modeled this propellor.
I want to twist the the tip of it about 40° but leave the base of the propellor untwisted.
Is there a tool to do it ?

Use Soft selection - (Caps Lock)
Select vertexes on the top and modify amount of Soft selection by pressing W and scrolling MW.
Then rotate, if needed add more edges, you will understand this when you start doing.

Never thought of doing that way, thanks for the tip, will give it a try.
I see in the help files there are ways you can twist objects with splines but I do not know how it works in this example.

I also not to skilled to twist objcts with spline
So I prefer this simple method.

kevjon, in your example I would use manual rotating of every edge. There are not so many edges and it will give you more control and precision. As I know propellers have more complex twisting I mean not leaner as "Digital" twisting has. May be I'm wrong

Steve, I've booked marked your post, fantastic to see how these tools work, you've explained it very well. I really like the spline tools in Nvil, so this opens up even more possibilities that are not so obvious from the help files.

In other programs I've used mechanical twist gives best result. Even though I have few edges twisting each edge loop manually is trickier than it looks. The propeller can easily come out looking a bit warped
