Quick bug I've run into a number of times over a long period, including in the latest 02Nov14 build. Basically, if you try to rename an object to the same name as a previously deleted object, NVil simply won't let you. This can be a nuisance for all sorts of reasons, particularly when trying to keep your scene organised by allowing new objects to take on the same name as a superceded placeholder object.
To reproduce this issue try the following:
1. Create a box object.
2. Rename the box object to "Box"
3. Delete "Box"
4. Create a new box object
5. Try to rename the new box object to "Box"
6. NVil won't allow this... you have to name it something else.

It'll work if you clear the history, and therefor the undo stack.

IMHO it shouldn't be necessary to delete history just to perform a simple renaming operation.

Hi rubberDuck,
Currently, Nvil does not allow objects to have same name.
An "Undo" operation does not undo renaming, so names in undo stack are taken into account when renaming objects in scene, in case they are brought back into scene.
But I do agree with you.
