General Discussion / Re: Vertex points not vissible in other views?
« Last post by kevjon on March 17, 2026, 06:57:43 pm »
At the top of the viewport where it says Front, Right, Top, Custom click on it and check "show vertices". I don't know why they aren't turned on by default.

The Y key will activate Move, Rotate, Scale combined. There is also and icon for it in the Manipulation window.

I don't see any problem with the spline points while using your settings. If you have the spline selected, can you see the spline points in vertex mode?

Best way that I know of is shown in the linked image. works with Instance directional array or advanced. The image below shows the advanced option. I also use advanced for radial arrays.

Feature Requests / Re: Feature request Drawmesh, Crease subD
« Last post by kevjon on March 12, 2026, 12:23:30 am »
Keep in mind when using DrawMesh as a modelling tool you can use it inconjunction with standard polymodelling tools & operations. You don't have to do the entire model with DrawMesh. Essentially you go in and out of DrawMesh mode as required.

For example you could use N-Polygons for the headlights, You could create cylinders to cut out the wheel openings with boolean. Standard creasing tools can be used as required.

I agree with you about using standard keyboard shortcuts like D, A, E etc in DrawMesh would be easier to remember provided they don't clash with existing keyboard shortcuts.

Community Help / Array Question
« Last post by silent_haven on March 11, 2026, 01:29:28 pm »
The best way to array an object with a 0.6m (for example) gap? I have tried it with Instance (Directional Array) but it didnt worked as I want. So I duplicated each cube, snapped it, moved on 0.6m and so on. Is there a more smarter/less frictional way to do that?
