Good day.
In Nvil can you use a curve as a drive rail on another curve to create a 3d shape?

You can use this tool, Help > Contents > Modeling > Vertex Section > Spline Vertex > Spline Slide.

dxf is supported. Edit > Options > File Format options > Formats > dxf.
File > Open Scene > Pick your dxf file.

Hello what would be the proper way to create a line as the red one just above an existing line?
If I had a circulized item I just can inset and it will create a perfect ouline...but how to do this with something like half a circle?
Tnx.

Tnx...
I am with this about 2 hours...with the reference image.
I am sure I have asked this before but cannot find it...in the forums.
When you try to align reference images at some point they disappear...when you cross the middle point I guess.
Why is that?
Is there a way to avoid this..or not having it disappear? this confuses the hell out of me.
In the left view I see the image, in the right view I dont....
The only other 3d app I use is Moi3d and here it is very quick you can move it never disappears...if you have an image visible in the top view
and in the 3d view you move it closer and farther away you will still see it in the top view and bottom view as well.
I am sure there is a logical explanation but I am not understanding this.
and why when I create a box it wraps is with my reference images?
Tnx!

* You can create an image plane for the right view. Or you can put the image plane in the middle so it can be visible from both left/right direction.
* The box used the same material as the image plane. You can create a new material and assign it to the box. View > Windows > Materials Window.
