If you want to work like a CAD guy in NVil (rather than an imprecise artist). You can use the geometry of the mesh you imported to snap NVil splines to edges and vertices. Its pretty quick to do.

You can then use spline surface or spline patch to patch the areas between the splines with the amount of divisions you require. Spline surface requires 4 splines to patch while spline patch will join onto existing mesh edges but still require 4 sides. (Not much different than nurbs requirements where they require 4 edges to surface).

Because DXF import of splines is not working correctly in NVil, the workflow you can use between your CAD program and NVil is to model the basic shape in CAD (for accuracy). Then export a mesh out to OBJ format. I recommend exporting a fairly dense mesh as it makes retopology smoother and more accurate. See image below.

Import the OBJ into NVil and retopologise it with drawmesh (keeping it all quads) and add 2 levels of subd. For the example you posted you only need to retopo half and then use symmetry. You can then tweak the retopolised mesh in NVil to your desired shape before importing back to MoI using the subd option where you can do further booleans.

I use this technique all the time when I can't achieve a good result using MoI surfacing tools. Nurbs surfacing tools tend to crease, warp and crinkle easily.

Try this.

Try View > Refresh also if not working.
Now Refresh helps. I noticed that "File Edit..." bar is quite small now. I prefer it big like it was before but that`s now a big deal. At least Refresh works. Thank you

I remember about changing High DPI Scaling override but as we discussed in precious topics - edges become blurry. if nothing can be done here to fix this, I`ll just keep switching text font scale back and forth because it helps by far
