I tried to get the tracks instanced properly along the spline, but they would not orient to the spline, so I did this in Maya.

Hi Mason
I made this tank in NVil and created the tracks as instances along a spline path also in NVil. The secret is the initial orientation of the master tread and spline. I posted a query in the Community Help section under a thread called "Positioning tank treads along a spline" and followed the advice in this thread and manged to achieve the result you can see.
