I'm not sure it this is bug.
Thing is vw is unhiding all objects on 'F10' key. But I would expect is to unhide only those objects that were unhidden before F10.
Why this is pain in butt:
a) I often have low poly meshes hidden, so I can work only on hipoly detail.
b) I press F10 to 'solo' selected hipoly mesh. I do my work then.
c) I unhide the rest of hipoly objects with F10, but guess what - lowpoly also gets unhidden. So I have to hide lowpolly again. And after F10, hide lowpoly again, and again...
Edit:
F12 work much like I expect. It won't unhide all objects.

that is why i want a view layer system that is independent of the hide, and show all commands, want ot be able tp assign thigns to a layer and hide it, or freeze it so it can be selected.
but ya the current system doesn't act as a toggle even know it is named that, it just goes between hideing unselected to showing everythign.
