Geometry > Convert Selected To UV Seams   

Can't get this to work, or if it does it doesn't shown the color on screen (in my case green)

Do a search in "Tool Search" window with Keyword "UV" and see if you can find the answer.

Got it ! show uv seams was off.

I didn't have much luck transfering the uv seams created in Nvil to blender or 3D Coat so have turned them off again.
Workflow wise probably best to create the seams in those applications.
