Haven't found a way so far to do these 2 things, let me know if there is.
Would love to have:

1. when chamfering vertices auto weld once they meet + snap to this mode at some point (threshold) and hold for some amount of movement (another threshold) when chamfering.

https://prnt.sc/ownbqs

2. Rotate selected subobject around center of each subobject. Currently I have to select face rotate it and repeat that for each face I want to do this. Maybe there is already a way for this? But I only find rotating around selection, object etc

1. It is done already. Which version are you using?

2. You can use this basic streamline tool, Local Rotate Selection. You can search for this tool in "Tool Search" window. In polygon mode with selection set, click the tool in "Tool Search" window to activate it then do the rotation operation in viewport. Tap "Esc" key to exit the tool.

Updated Nvil to the latest, both work! Thanks!

Is there a way to do symmetry along 2 planes for example X and Z instead of just 1? It would be nice if we could check multiple planes in Symmetry Cut List

Not possible.

But you can create symmetrical instance.

The problem with instance is that when I smooth the mesh objects are separated resulting in broken topology compared to welded symmetry.

One more request

Currently when I select edges (red) and want to do diagonal cut and select the rest of the edges (green) previous selection in red gets lost in the process. Often times when designing cut lines in mesh it is really useful to select few edges, do modifications to the mesh on the fly (cuts, welds, deleting faces etc) and keep previous selection of the edges in memory. I tried with save current subobject selection but it gets lost if I modify the mesh.

Best case how this works for me would be:
 - go into edge suboboject selection
 - select few edges
 - switch to vertex mode, move vertices, do some cuts
 - switch back to edge selection (previous selection alive)
 - keep going :)

You can search these two tools in the tool search window. You can use either one of them.

* Auto Restore Last Subobject Selections.
* Restore Last Subobject Selection.

Works good! Thanks so much, I should be posting in help forum instead of features hehe
