Toolbar bug Microsoft.Net Framework error

Hi,
I'm having trouble getting my toolbar icons showing. All I'm seeing is blank grey bars with no tool icons showing. I've tried resetting but this doesn't fix anything and when I close Nvil I'm getting a Microsoft.Net Framework Unhandled exception error.

Can you post a screenshot and the detailed information of "Microsoft.Net Framework Unhandled exception erro"?

Can you post the screenshot of the NVil UI? I mean the bar area you mentioned.

I'm not able to post an attachment. I keep getting this message when trying to reply with an attachment.
"The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved."

Btw, what is the current Nvil version you are using? And have you used the other older version before?

I think I know what is happening now. You have fired this command, View > ToolBars > Reset. This command has been outdated and I forgot to remove it.

Now the solution is.
1. Make sure Nvil is not loaded. If it is open, close it.
2. Go to this folder, C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\DigitalFossils\NVil\User Settings.
3. Remove these two files, MainFormBarSetting.xml, MainFormDockingSetting.xml.
4. Load Nvil and see if it is fixed.

Can't find the AppData folder in my UserName directory. I purchased Nvil through Steam so should I be looking elsewhere?

The Steam version uses the same directory path.

Maybe the "AppData" folder is hidden in your machine. Try google "AppData folder" and see if you can find tips to access this folder.

Or you can use Windows search tool to find out the location of this file, MainFormDockingSetting.xml.

Yes, that fixed it. NVil's retopology tools look amazing. Can't wait to test them out properly.
