Im was playing with "Draw Mesh" to create retopology. It very nice tool, one question , it it maybe possible to extend this tool with some kind of "fast extrude/multiple extrude" function like:

Select the edge of one face , press "fast extrude"hotkey , the drag and move in the direction you want to extrude/create faces.
Tool takes the edge length from the first selected edge and if you keep holding and drag it creates multiple polygons one after other until you stop drawing.

Example: See "pic-1".

The tool would help to create exreme fast poligon stripes and "describe" the main features of the object you want to retopologize. The rest could be solved by using other "Draw Mesh" tools.

Thanks in advance

It could also snap for creating additional polygon "stripes".

Have a read of the tooltips for the Draw Mesh's Extrude tool.

If you want to create meshes straight away instead of lines, try the visual Retopo tool which had similar functions.

No such function. But you can extrude multiple edges at the some time.
