Hi,
I have one question regarding soft selection.
I i activate it, and press Ctrl key, i see this 3D lasso that is indicator for selection radius. see screenshot
but i cant manipulate it. What tool is it?Is it possible to assign different hotkey to it instead of Ctrl?
What i looking for is by holding button pressed,define the radius of soft selection.
Thank you in advance

What i was thinking , is like combine this 3D lasso, and StreamLine Tool WMB Scroll Simulator (because i use tablet) to control the radius of soft selection.

Once the streamline tool activated and mouse button pressed to activate the basic streamline tool, use Alt+Drag before or during the transforming.

Have you tried the brush tools? They could be better tools for organic objects.

These two option can be useful for brush tools
  * Edit > Customize > Tools > Modeling Options > Subobject Highlight Enabled.
  * Edit > Customize > Tools > Set-Restore Tools > R_SetEdgeSmoothRendering/R_Restore EdgeRenderingOption/R_HideVertexEdgeInViewport/R_Restore VertexEdgeVisibleInViewport

-------

It would be nice if you can make a video to show how the tools can used.
