Hi,

I have a lot crashes when im trying to tweak UI when i have some scene open. Until i don't load or create some geometry, i can tweak UI without crash. But if im for example, im modeling process tweak Viewport edges (to get more place for second view) it crashes most all time and i loose my work.

I have this problem at home and i on my pc at work.

I dont work a long time with NVIL but anything else seems to be very stable...
Can i maybe somehow lock/freeze ui so it prevents me on crash?

There hasn't been any report like this before. Did it happen both at home and at work. Was any crash or error message?

Hm, yes it crashes also at work. I think i got it. Its something with my custom setting, because if i completely remove Nvil "User Settings" and "Media" folder, than no crashes happens.
But which setting cause crash i dont know.

If you want you can have look at it:

Actually i think i know what cause the crash.
Its  "Highlighted edge width" under Preferences. If increase to 3 or 4 , NVIL start to crash as
soon as you tweak UI or minimize Nvil window.
Dont know, maybe its only on my graphic card.

Yes, it crashes on me too when I increase the value to 3. I'll see if I can fix it.

No more crashes! thx a lot!

by the way i found that on 2k monitor edges appears little to fine, so its little hard to see them.
Its not so problematic, but if i had a choice i would also adjust unselected edges to be more thick for my taste.  But its "complaining on a high comfort level":)

4k monitors are starting to become mainstream, I wonder if this will be a problem?

Hi , thanks for info. I tried  "disable DPI scaling" setting, but i cant see any difference. I think  i dont have this problem with DPI mismatching and sharpeness. I think it comes just because double resolution on 27th monitor makes edges a little thinner. I have one older monitor mit 1920x1080 and there edges are little thicker then on the newer 2k monitor.
