Topic: Local Scale Selection broken?  (Read 6048 times)

Hello, I just noticed that my Subobject Tools >> Local Scale Selection# function is not working as expected.

Instead of scaling subobject selection shells locally in ALL axes it is scaling in only 2. In this case X & Y

Also there is a strange message about Spline_Open YZ which appears while the hotkey is held down.



Could some kind soul please verify that this is also happening for them please?

Hi,

Instead of scaling subobject selection shells locally in ALL axes it is scaling in only 2. In this case X & Y
While tool active: Tap the "space key" to change scale direction.

While tool active: Tap "Caps lock" to change how scale calculation is made.

Have a look in "Help > Modeling > Streamline Tools > Local Transform" for more info.

Interesting,  Voidworld depth increases exponentially every day :D

p.s. this is not a complaint, I wouldn't have it any other way.

It was a change made back in update "May 11 2014"

thanks, Maybe I have just never accidentally hit Space or Caps while using the Scale Local tool.

Perhaps my statement should've read, 'Interesting,  My knowledge of Voidworld increases exponentially every day'
