Hay IStonia, may be I made a lot of requests for a short time, but it is not mean that you have to make them right now, just make them when you will have time, I post them to not forget about them :)

So my config use this commands to work with symmetry:









Is it possible to make this symmetry commands to work with Object pivot, not mesh pivot?
Now very often we have problems with that symmetry commands because of mesh pivots, it is to complicated to set that pivot some times. It is complicated for me but for simple users it is much more complicated.
But using object pivot it will be very simple task!

Also when you will have time make pleas Freez and Unfreez All commands based on objects not on meshes.

Use the "Align Mesh Pivot To Object Base".

You can set object Pivot, then have composite tools.

I would prefer a new tool/function to "Align Object Pivot To Manipulator". That way, for functions such as "Symmetry remove_negative", we could set manipulator, then have composite tool to:-

Align Object Pivot to Manipulator
Align Mesh Pivot To Object Base
set symmetry axis (if needed)
Symmetry remove_negative

Create the composite tools for the symmetry functions. Just a need to add at the start of the composite tool the command  "Align Mesh Pivot To Object Base"

So for example. If you wanted to "Symmetry remove_negative", you would set object pivot, then call composite tool with:-

1. Align Mesh Pivot To Object Base
2. set symmetry axis (if needed)
3. symmetry remove_negative

  * Edit > Customize > Tools > Common Modeling Tools > Freeze/Unfreeze. It works on meshes in mesh mode. Otherwise it works on objects.
  * Edit > Customize > Tools > Common Modeling Tools > P_Align Pivot To Manipulator. Align object/group pivot to manipulator.
  * Mesh mirror tool works on all modes. Geometry > Common Command n Tools > Mirror. In mesh mode, it works on the selected mesh. In other modes, the object must have only one mesh.

Is it any way to highlight freezed objects? Like edge color.

Check the new update
 * Edit > Preference > Colors > Edge Colors > Freezed. That's a typo. Do you think "Frozen" is better, or just "Freeze"?

I think freeze is good.
Can you make the same thing for freezed objects edge color like you did for instances so color of frozen objects will be on top of all. Now for example hard edges is on top.
