Hi IStonia, can you pleas add option - Do not hide Hard Edges on viewport navigation?
Now if I have Hide Edge/Vertex on viewport navigation it hides all edges. But when you work with hard esdges some times it is very hard to see edges and this function will realy help because you will see all hard edges without any other when you rotate viewport.
Also is it possible to add thickness option of Hard edges? And if yes also and simple edges?

I just experiment a bit and I think this feature have to be added only to UnSubdivided objects.
So it have to looks like this, when you start navigating viewport on Subdivided objects no any edges are visible but on UnSubdevided objects only hard edges are visible.
It will be really cool! Because now edges sometimes very hard to see like here:

Also check this:

Showing hard edges will solve this problem.
And on Viewport navigation it will  look something like this:

Try this
http://www.digitalfossils.com/Download/NVil-Apr-20-15.rar
* View > Object Shading > Except Hard Edge Hiding On Viewport Navigating.

You also need to turn on
view > Object Shading > Show Hard Edge Color.

I just experiment with this and have some notes:

1. Now it only shows hard edges on selected objects, but would be great to show them also on Unselected objects. So all objects selected/unselected will show hard edges.

2. Now it shows Hard edges on Subdivided and Unsubdevided objects but would be great to have option to show only on UnSubdivided.

3. If Hard edge is also Creaseed edge it is not showed as hard edge on viewport navigation.

So another words it has to works like this:
Show Hard edges on all UnSubdevided objects during viewport navigation.

You fixed: Show hard edges if it is creased and Hide Hard edges on subdivided objets.

You no longer need to check, View > Object Shading > Show Hard Edge Color.
But can not understand how it works? If I uncheck it, hard edges deaspears, like it was before.

Also it still do not show hard edges on all unsubdevided obects.

It should show up but not in hard edge color.

Do you have edges shown for the unselected objects before navigating?

Now got it! Everything is working good.
But I still prefere to check Show Hard edge color, because I have differenet edge colors on selected and unseleted objects and need at the same time that all Hard Edges to be Black (Check screen). If I uncheck it, I will  have different Hard edge color on selected/unselected objects.

Can you make subdivided objects to not show hard edges at all even when you do not navigate viewport? :

With the change, hard_edge color is now showing on all objects, selected or not selected. With Nvil, the only way to know what is selected is by change of edge_color (manipulator may be hidden, or not at objects center), so in a scene with many objects that have many hard_edges, it is now difficult to know what is actually selected.
As "show hard_edge color on all objects all of the time" was not requested, could you please change it back.

I solve it by changing edge ecolors check it, selected object has white edges unselected darker.

I think it could be fixed as you wish but it must be always on, on viewport navigation. But the best way is to have option for this. Because personally for me it helps to see hard edges when working.

Because personally for me it helps to see hard edges when working.

I always have "Show hard_edge color" enabled, but do not find it needed when view navigating (I find is difficult to work on objects if they are moving).

As it is now, with showing hard_edge color on all selected/un-selected objects, it is a problem. For example, Create several default box. Hide manipulator(or set it to world), select a box, how can you see which is selected?
