Hi IStonia,
have this problem, I made my plugin window owned by NVil, so looks like when I move cursor on to NVil area NVil become top-most window and it is not allow for example activate KeyShot window if it is not maximized.
In other apps everything is ok.

See what may happen if you only move the cursor into other controls rather than viewports.

If I move to the Windows(like Tool Search or Materials) or User Tools Window everything is ok.

Thank you, now everything is great. Looks like Gui of plugin now redraw much faster. Also it not loos focus when you move outside it. Also windows like StreamLine Tools, Tools e.t.c. now do not loose focus too when you move outside them.

There is now inconsistency due to different behavior between windows staying in focus or not. Also the behavior can change, depending if the window is docked or not.

I have never liked how the various window lose focus, but at least it was consistent. Now I am not sure which window will stay in focus or not.

Is this a problem for you? I just try to make its behavior the same as before as the consistency steve mentioned.

No it is not a problem, everything is ok.
I just cannot understand what consistency Steve is talking about.
Normal behavior of windows in Windows as I may think is when it loos focus when you activate another window not when you move outside this window.

Consistency within Nvil. Either all Nvil windows should lose focus, or all windows should keep focus. The changes made cause inconsistency, where some windows kept focused and others did not.

As I mentioned above, I have never liked the way Nvil windows lose focus. But in the years I have used voidworld/Nvil, no one has ever mentioned it.

If the behavior was to change, then it needs to be done correctly and on all windows.
