Hello Tafi125,

Where are you accessing the help file from? Is it the "Help > Contents" inside Nvil UI?

If that is not fully showing, it may be due to where you have placed Nvil file folders, as windows UAC(User account Control) can play games sometimes and not let applications access certain sections of the HD.
If you go to the Nvil directory (where you have expanded the files), go to the "Help" directory, and open the "Nvii1.0 Help.chm" file. Does that work OK?

I tried accessing it direct and not through the ui. What I get is a help file that enables me to go through to the actual subjects , I.evhot keys etc but it goes no further
As though there is no final stage, the actual answers

Happened here too. Go to the help directory in nvil and choose the help chm file and right click and choose properties and then unblock the file. :)
