Hello,

Not sure if a possible bug, or intentional?.
When making an inset in this latest version, it is sometimes the surrounding geometry moving rather than the inset, although I cannot find any consistency, as sometimes it does work as in previous versions.
So as example. If you have a cube, select a face, run inset, the sides of the cube move rather than the inset.

It is not a bug. The app decide the inset/outset style base on the initial cursor drag direction. This is to slim down the ui. Please see the discussion here

I see you have now added (june-20 build) a "Follow outside shape", which gives a result I was looking for.
