Hey, I think this is a bug, but it could be user error...

So I imported an image plane into all three viewports, and the side plane is giving me a weird issue.  When I zoom in to far the mesh vanishes from the viewport, but I can still edit it.  If I zoom out I can see all my verts and everything.  The top and front planes don't give me this problem.  I've restarted Nvil, and imported many times into the side plane and even re-downloaded Nvil.  It looks like the problem is the viewports camera is attached to the image plane, because the pic clips my mesh, I don't know why it's only in the side view though.

If I'm possibly doing something wrong, sorry for the user error  :P

Little update, if I click the viewport toggle on the bottom of the window, and zoom in and out the error still happens.

Hi mvolpa,

Just sounds like a problem with view focus and the mesh is being clipped from view.

Select the mesh and "Best fit(F6)" for single view, or "Best fit all(F7)" for all views. That should solve the issue.

check the camera clipping plane values in the applications options.

No luck with either, but changing the clip plane distance did let me zoom in a bit more.  I have it set to the lowest it'll go, .001, but if it went lower that'd definitely fix it.  Oh and if I switch my front to the back, and import the same image the clipping occurs. :-\

Please try, select one of the polygons on the mesh in the view you are having problems with then press F6.

One thing to check. Make sure you do not have "Retopo mode enabled" enabled.

Well, no clue what I was doing wrong, but it's fine now, before I was double clicking the option to best fit.  Thanks again Steve!!! ;D

oh and thanks for the object library help too

If you see the problem again, try a "View-> Reset View" (or "View-> Reset All Views").

I do not use multi-views, well, maybe once or twice in the last 6 months. I did see a problem where the view(on multi-view) was messed up, a "Reset View" did sort out that issue for me.

At least you have now sorted the problem.
