Edge-Extrude

"Edge Extrude-> Preview" no longer functions.

It works fine to me.

Still not working here.

I have deleted all NVIL config files, removed all NVIL reg-entries, still same problem.

What OS have you checked on. I am on windows 7 64

I still do not know if NVIL is fully compatible with 64 bit OS, as there is no information concerning compatibility. I noticed a forum post (start problem) the other day concerning a user on windows XP with .net error. You informed user to install .net 1.1 and .net 2. If NVIL require's files specifically from .net 1.1, that is not supported on windows 7 64

I just checked in build jul-10-12 (a build I drop back to at times due to other ongoing issues), and that works fine.

Can you make a video so I can follow your steps and see if I can produce the bug?

I do not see why a video would be needed. I am simply using the visual tool (edge) "Extrude" on any object/mesh edge and using the "Preview" option. It appears to have stopped working quite a while ago. But as I stated above, I do not know if it is due to some incompatibility with windows 7 64 bit.
Have you tested NVIL on windows 7 64?

I have uploaded a video on the edge extrude preview, but I am not sure if this is the same problem that Steve is talking about. I tried to download the build jul-10-12 to get an idea but I am getting a 404 page or a "dude on a Hawaiian shirt".

I have been going through the previous versions. The bug came in build Oct-14-12.

So, it does not create preview extrusion base on input value, right? If you drag on viewport in preview mode, does it work?

Yes, based on the tests I did in this video http://youtu.be/IJPX1B0mTpk it seems that it is not working correctly.

Let me know if you need more info. And thank you for creating this great 3d modeling program. But most important thank you for all the hard work tweaking and fixing bugs.
