Hello,

I wanted to use the "Create Polygon" tool to create a surface between 2 objects, it was to be a separate object when finished. The first problem I found when creating the polygon was that snapping does not work on grid or unselected objects. Having selected the objects I then found that the created polygon, due to snapping to the selected objects was then trying to be added(merged) to the selected objects, which due to having 2 separate objects selected caused NVIL to give an unhandled exception error. I tried again(after re-start), but that then crashed NVIL.

Should the created Polygon actually be trying to merge with the selected object? Also, is the lack of snapping to grid and not snapping to unselected objects (for the "Create Polygon" tool) a bug? Given the fact that the "Retopo" will snap to any unselected object and grid.

Thanks,
