I am seeing an issue with save/paste saved sub_object selections after deletion of other sub_objects.

Simple example:-

Create default box
Select top polygon
select edges on polygon border
save selection as edge group(this is for part of example)
Save sub-object selection (save those same four edges as in saved edge-group)
select polygons in selected edges (which selects the original polygon)
Delete that polygon
Go back into edge selection mode.
Select the edge-group created previously, that will select the four edges.
Now "paste saved sub-object selection", not correct.

There must be an issue with the saved sub-object selection. I at first though the issue was due to you renumbering edges after face deletion, but if that was the case, then the saved group would also be incorrect.
This is stopping me creating various composite tools.

Please fix when you have time.

It is OK on all tests up to now apart from on a default box. The example above shows the problem, but you do not have to delete the polygon.
(currently using new default config)

Example,
Create default box
Select all edges
save sub-object selection
paste saved sub-object selection

One edge is not selected.

Is that an issue with "save sub-object selection" or an issue with box primitive?

--------
Posted too soon. Seeing similar issue with all primitives. There is always one edge that will never save to "Save Current subobject selection"

It is the same when saving polygons/vertex.

Another test.

Create default box
Select all polygons
Save sub-object selection
Paste saved sub-object selection

One polygon is not selected. Select that polygon and delete it

Paste saved sub-object selection
a different polygon is now not selected.

You can repeat the "Paste saved sub-object selection" and delete the unselected polygon, until no box left.
