Using Nov 28 Version

I am finding that my saved workplanes do not respect top, front, left ortho views etc. Instead you get some weird orientations.

To recreate
Create an object and save 3 workplanes into the workplane list and name them accordingly.

When you first create each of the workplanes, top, left, right ortho view of that workplane  works fine.

The bug is when when you go back to them later on by selecting a workplane from the list & applying settings you get a weird orientation instead when trying to go the top, right, front ortho view of that workplane.

I hope my description makes sense.

Another bug is that when you start a new scene the workplane list from the previous scene does not clear. You have to close the program down and reopen it for it to clear.

I have found out how to solve this problem.

Everytime you select a saved workplane from the Transform list you have to active "Set navigation space to workplane". Then the ortho views will behave as expected.

What would make life much easier (and more intuitive for users) is that when users activate work planes, navigation space is set to workplane automatically.

When users aren't working with workplanes then navigation space would automatically go back to world space.

  * Edit > Preference > Options1 > Auto set navigation space on "Snap View" base on workplane visible status.

Rotating the scene with ALT+LMB and hitting SHIFT to snap the view does help with aligning ortho views to workplane. I didn't know about that before, I can see myself using that a lot now that I know, thanks !

That is a quicker way to work than flipping through the ortho views till you find the one that orientates to what you are looking for.
