create half sphere with circle open edge

istonia i think there is a way (possible) to make sphere shape from circle edge.

You can try work with curve loop.  It creates a smooth arch of vertex loop.  Select start, mid, and end vertice to define the curve.  It will not be a perfect sphere though.
