Composite tools + UI update

Minor issue I hope you can look at when you have time.

If I have a composite tool that switches between selection modes, the UI attempts to keep up with the changes, but usually cannot. So I find while running some of my composite tools my user buttons simply disappear from UI while the composite tool is running. Although possibly not classed as a problem, it does not look good, and always makes me wonder if Nvil as crashed.

Would it be possible to disable any UI update until a composite tool as finished?
