Hi IStonia,

This problem as been mentioned before, by me and others. But I see the problem getting worst rather than better.

There is a serious problem with object LMB / MMB (click)selection, which for me appears to be in scenes with more than about 10 objects. I can select the objects with a LMB+drag(window select), but that causes issue with the possibility of other objects behind being selected. Also, once that object is deselected, it can again be an issue to re-select it (with LMB/MMB click)
The main concern for me, is that with this issue, I also have the problem of not being able to use the geometry on all objects in scene for snapping points. As far as Nvil is concerned, most of the time some of the object do not exist, and no snapping can be made on the unselected objects.

I have gone through all the normal checks. Scene scale, new config, removing reg entries, graphics/mouse driver etc etc. But no improvement. I did also check on Win32 setup, and see the same issue.

But what I find most curious about this issue. Is that if I combine all objects in scene together, I can then select each of the objects mesh without any problem at all. I would use that, but scene organization is not possible for Mesh.

Please have a look at this when you have time.

Thanks.

I should of mentioned:-
I also checked (with the same scene I am having issue with in latest builds) with previous versions. In builds from last year, the problem is not as bad. I started using "build_Dec_22_14" which is selecting all objects in my scene without issue.
I did, while checking builds, look at "Build_dec_31_14". With the same scene, attempting to select some of the objects causes "Unhandled Exception". So maybe something changed in/after that build which as now increased this "Object selection" problem?

Hi IStonia,

It is looking Very good. No problems with object selection. I will keep building this scene, which will get quite big with lots of objects, so will see how it goes. I will post back to thread if I see any problems.

Many thanks.
