Sometimes there are situations where Nvils Circulize command is not the best solution.

If I understand right it works only with 8sided quads? Why not to use Circulize  in this situation?

It depends if you want to create to a specific size. Circularize gives no feedback on size of circle/semi-circle created, you need to guess/tweak to get to a specific size.

Personally I use "Align > Cylinder", which allows for size input (or snap point select).

I am always working with 8 sided cylinders.  This will also work on half of a cylinder as long as the pivot point is at the center.  (you will have to correct the submitted tools)

It will also turn a circle into a square.  Reason is that it only changes 4 verts, leaving the center and the other verts where they are.


Thanx for the Align tip steve....its a tool I need to experiment more with.
