It uses XSI, but all of the features and workflow can be done in Nvil

What I do miss is a reliable "isolate select" that makes only the selected object visible without changing the visibility of already hidden objects.

Vitaly Bulgarov is such a badass modeller... watched that video awhile back when my workmates and I were thinking about having a mech modelling showdown (never enough time, it seems). Anyhow, it had me seriously considering XSI, but we all know what happened to Softimage this year. However, since all I wanted from it was the modelling tools, I'm glad we all have NVIL already.
Also, put "isolate select" on a feature request - I too would really like this! Coming from MAX, I really notice its absence.
