The closest thing to a .net is mono.

I don't really mind if you do not implement this if it is hard to do, there are other things I wish to be implemented.

If .net frame work can't not installed in Linux, it is impossible to run NVil in Linux.

Have you looked at Mono? its apparently .net compatible

I have had a brief look at it. I don't have time to investigate further.
