a tutorial would be good for attaching "bones"
( can animate 3D models ? how ? )

im pretty sure the bones are just there, because originally there was going to be animation tools, but they got cut out in favor of focusing on modeling tools.
if you just want a free animation app, blender has some pretty good animation tools and rigging tools.

well im not the person to ask, but from what i witnessed, it seems the point of the app is to just have a really good modeling and subd app, and not worry about animation, or rendering etc.
also why would you want to animate in it, since there is no rendering, and there is no export to anything game engines can handle.
the objective kinda is, to be the best possible app for 1 purpose, and not be a jack of all trades master of none, like max.
