Unable to cancel Simplify operation

Hey guys , i am unable to cancel simplify operation. I have to end nvil process and run it again. here is video

I have selected 8 verticies, apply simplify operator with 100% . and i cannot cancel the operation.

apply simplify operator with 100% . and i cannot cancel the operation.

Applying simplify at %100 would leave the model as it is (no simplification), so I can see why Nvil is getting confused.
But yes, that is definitely a bug.
