Hi all, right now in WV when I eg. duplicate cube, it's material is not linked to original one. So if I change mat on one of them, fist one is not updated (cos materials are separate copies). I would like to have option to link mesh to same material.
So if I assign one material to all tires It would update on all off them at once. I think I ask for material instances support.

maybe adopting a whole dataset system like blender, where material, and even mesh data is completely separate from the object and can be swapped at will, and have multiple objects linking to 1 set of data etc.

i think that is one of the coolest features of blender, most apps olny do it on the material and texture side of things, but in blender it even worked on mesh data, which was cool of you wanted to instance a mesh but place it in the same location as pre-existing objects you could just select those objects and tie it to differnt mesh data.
