[2011-Oct-26] Shell Preview invisible [fixed]

The shell preview in this latest release is a bit broken.  The preview mesh (which was really useful for judging how much to extend) no longer shows when the Shell Visual Tool is used.

Steps for repro:

• Create a single sided Plane
• goto Mesh subobject level
• select Mesh
• choose Shell Visual Tool
• click and drag on Mesh

Notice that the preview no longer shows.

grr just noticed that this is another of those, not 100% reproducible.  I'll try and hunt down exactly which settings I have changed to reproduce this.

just tested that out and i got the same issue, cant see the shell preview at all.
