Hi IStonia,

I been checking out Blender and found some nice stuffs they got there.. one of them is Volume Preservation Smoothing (https://gumroad.com/l/vol_smooth and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIYZoy0POu0). Basically it's smoothing while maintaining the volume of the mesh, it should also maintain the border components so they don't shrink.

There is a similar tool already.

Help > Contents > Modeling > Edge Section > Edge Commands > Loop Tidy.

Ah yes.. that one with Loop Relax, and also the combination of Relax and then Local Move (to push them outward a little bit after the volume loss from smoothing) works too for now...
