Hi,

So, I'm a long-time modo user but not so happy with it anymore. I tried Nvil and it is great, too. Strong tools. But it's not even on a par with modo 101 which was released 10 years ago. What is your impression? Is Nvil stronger than modo when it comes to modeling?

How well do you know Nvil? How did you compare the two? I don't know much about Modo but some one told me a year age that Modo is the most clickiest tool.

The Strength of Nvil is in the speed of execution.

Highend apps have a great deal more depth, so things like deformers, constraints, and scripting give it a great range for techniques.  The disadvantage is a diluted workflow that requires a lot of mouseclicks and scrolling through menus and settings.

Nvil doesnt have this,  each tool is a hotkey and the settings for these tools are dependant on modifier keys.  All of this is customizable to your preferance which grants a level of personal control that other apps do not.  Even the help menu is fast, and could be used as a UI enhancement.

The modeling toolset has gotten a lot of polish and works really well.
