streamline edge(spline) to tube

if i want to my edge loop to be tube i must be goto create spline open/close and select the spline and do command slide

can you make if select the edge/edge loop/spline it will make automatic tube
using mouse drag,ctrl and shift?


i have some problem istonia. when i do create spline open/close from the edge loop of my geo at the image below it will be make a spline at left. The spline not created per edge loop like on the right. I think the right is correct

  * Edge mode > Geometry > Create Splines.

  * Edit > Customize > Tools > Object Shortcut Tools > Create Tube.
  * two new basic streamlinen tools. Generic Tools > Mixed Tools > Create Tube From Spline. Edge Tools > Mixed Tools > Create Tube From Edge.
