focus problem on startup

Does anyone else see this? Here the Nvil Window doesn't appear on top when starting the program. I see this on two very different computers (Win7 64 and xp32). The program actually starts but one has to Alt+TAB or similar to give the window focus.

What is taking focus?

I got that, too. The program doesn't appear in the task bar and doesn't start "on top". So I have to alt+tab to it. Then it appears in the task bar. win8 64bit
