select next/previous loop

I've seen this in some other applications, modo&lightwave for example. This set of commands selects the next or the previous loop. In that way you can cycle through your loops by pressing a button or using the mouse wheel. This should work for vertex/edge/face-loops.
In addition to that, there could also be "add next/previous loop to selection". This is some kind of growing a ring selection, but only in one particular direction.

As I was playing around with the composite tool editor, I found that this would be quite useful and would enable me to do things with it, which I currently can't.

I've been wanting this for a while as well. Think I asked for it at one point, but I forgot all about it myself.

Maybe we need more supporters for this request. ^^ (But I also know IStonia is quite busy making a living.)
