Almost every model I create has to be solid/"watertight".  For this reason, I always need to know if my normals are flipped, and so I always need to enable the option View>Object Shading>Backface in Gray.  Except, of course, I change the "gray" colour to bright green in the colour options panel (like it is in 3ds Max) so that backfacing polys catch my eye immediately.  It would be really nice for me if Nvil would remember my preference of turning "Backface in Gray" on, because this is something I have to do manually every time I start Nvil.

Thanks!

I agree. Every time I start NVil I forget to turn this on.

done. This option can cause poor view navigation performance in heavy scene.
