Vertices

How to make the vertices smaller? Because in this picture you can not see the model because the vertices are big.

Edit > Preference > General > Vertex size.

it ain't going down more than 3, the setting in the picture was already 3, is it possible that the vertices has 1 definite size like a mesh?
