Title: Splines & Camera Depth
Post by: kevjon on September 19, 2017, 10:20:48 am
Ive cut this from the draw mesh thread.

if you draw a line which goes through snapping points or across other existing lines, the program will know how to put the line in camera depth.

My feature request is to be able to draw splines in camera depth.

Currently I have to carefully set up a workplane for each spline drawn in 3d space otherwise the verts of the spline project on the world grid.

If I could just orientate my view roughly to where I want to draw a new spline by snapping onto the end of a previously drawn spline and have it use camera depth for its location in 3d space would be awesome.

Check this new option

Fantastic thankyou !

That will speed up the workflow for me who generates a lot of meshes with spline loft patching.
